Questions and Answers

What is a CV axle shaft and what does it do?
The Constant Velocity (CV) axle shaft transfers power from your vehicle’s transmission or differential to the drive wheels while allowing the wheels to steer and flex over bumps smoothly.
Are CV axle shafts side-specific (Left vs. Right)?
Yes! On most vehicles, the Driver Side (Left) and Passenger Side (Right) axle shafts are different lengths and are not interchangeable. Always double-check which side you need before placing your order.
How do I know if my current CV axle needs to be replaced?
Common signs of a failing CV axle include clicking or popping noises while turning, intense grease leaking on the inner wheel rim/suspension from a torn rubber boot, or severe vibration through the floorboard during acceleration.
How can I make sure this CV axle fits my vehicle?
Compare your vehicle’s Year, Make, Model, Trim, Engine size, and Drivetrain type (FWD, AWD, 4WD) against our compatibility details. Matching the original OEM part number from your old axle is the best way to confirm 100% fitment.
Need Fitment Assistance?
If you're unsure whether this CV axle matches your exact trim or transmission type, send us your vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and our team will verify fitment for you!
